PCB accepts Younis Khan’s apology after arguing with umpires

first_imgThe Pakistan Cricket Board accepted an apology from Younis Khan on Wednesday for breaching the code of conduct during a domestic one-day competition, clearing him to play if his team makes it to next Sunday’s final.The PCB says in a statement that Younis “expressed regret over his conduct and has duly apologized” after the board served notice to the test batsman on Tuesday.Younis deserted his team Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa during a Pakistan Cup against Punjab last week after arguing with umpires and refusing to attend a hearing, where he was fined.PCB chairman Shaharyar Khan accepted Younis’ apology, while terming the incident as “unfortunate”.last_img
